An Argument FOR Standardization...

...of mobile phone chargers! Please! On a side note, standardizing everything to metric might be a good idea of the US. The impact on US productivity from the confusion and difficulty of converting ounces to milliters and feet to meters is probably never going to truly be known, but I can put a bet that if we, the United States, ditched "Standard" measurements, we'd not only gain productivity, but our global competitiveness would increase tremendously. Not to mention the productivity of the world would improve! And throw in the $$$ it would save me because I don't have to buy 30 different sets of tools! We can dream...Oh and back to the phone charger, I could use the same one I bought 5 years ago today! It'll cut down on waste.

This is definitely one of my pet peeves. Every time you get a new phone, laptop, whatever, you need new power cords, new car chargers... at least they got headphones right.

Go metric! I dunno if it'll work though. Too many people are attached to the one gallon milk jugs....

The mini usb port idea sounds great! Whatever it is, I can't wait till it happens because I have about 20 power cords that I have no idea where they belong.

I agree go metric! Imagine how happy a lot of people will be to see $1.40/liter for gas! ;)

Haha, you know one day some politician will push for this and talk about the savings from standardization and mention the $1.40/liter for gas, almost insinuating that that price is much cheaper.
