My Worst Job Ever

First off, let me thank Nickel for bringing back horrible memories...haha, just kidding Nickel. Well, my worst job was during college. I don't know if you could consider it my "job," because I wasn't getting paid, but it was part of the requirements of my scholarship program that I participate in a research project. I picked a project that dealt with Aluminum absorption and its effects on growth. Well initially I had no idea what this research project would really mean. If you're against animal cruelty then I suggest you hit the back button on your browser now. I killed baby chickens. :( It was not, I repeat NOT, something I enjoyed doing, but I signed up for the project. I won't go into the gory details, but let's just say that carbon monoxide poisoning's first symptom is a bowel movement. I love animals...it was hard, but for the sake of learning and maybe bettering society for the price of a few chickens...Was it worth it? I don't know. In reality, I do know the answer to that, but I have hard time admitting it.

That's terrible...It reminds me of when I had to dissect a frog in 11th grade and I kept saying I'm sorry to it while I pinned it's legs and cut it open!!!

There's a reason why my roommate used to call it 'sacrificing' her animal. She had 70 mice for a cancer study. She was sad when it died, and happy because she no longer had to pay for its upkeep and could stretch out her grant money. Perverse isn't it?
