As far as blogging goes, this week was really interesting. Tons of posts that caught my attention...A little bit of controversy and drama...and the seriousness of life. Before I get to the posts of this week, a short smoking update, I'm still clean! Woot! *does the jig* Thanks to everyones support! I don't know how many times I have to repeat myself, but really, THANK YOU. So this week had lots of great posts. One that caught my attention has to do with life insurance. With a few of my good friends on their way to starting families, this one is something that I really hope people consider. The Almighty Dollar shares a personal story and her thoughts on this serious issue. Prosper.com has always been an interesting idea to me. Would I participate at this point? No, I don't think so. I wrote a crappy post on it awhile back, really not worth a click :P. Would I consider it in the future? Maybe. Here are two bloggers with opposing views. Miserly Bastard and Frank the FSA. Both are much better reads than my posts. Crazy Money discusses his reasons for not disclosing income which strikes a chord as I wrote about it once as well...here and here. From My Money Blog's inspiring reads to the question of whether the PF bloggers come from a nicer breed... It's Just Money shares his thoughts on this. There's just a lot to feel good about on the web nowadays, especially in the PF community. And btw, SingleMa is not feeling well, so go wish her well! Finally on a lighter note, how does your desk compare to Bill Gate's desk? Take a look at PF Advice's comparison. With that, hope you all have a great weekend!
