Save Money By Changing Something Very Simple...I Promise.

I never knew there were so many ways to tie shoelaces! Here's a direct link to my recommended shoelace tying method. So you're wondering, why is this not an "Off Topic" post? Well, if you use the recommended method of tying your shoelaces, the laces will last longer and it'll take you less time to tie your shoelaces, and we all know time = money! Now that is FRUGAL! And I learned something new to boot! I'm kind of excited to put on a pair of shoes now...whowouldathunkit.

This post has probably changed my entire life. Forever. Seriously.

I had problems learning to tie my shoes when I was younger so I learned to use the two loop knot. Well ever since I can remember my shoes have always been coming untied. It's gotten to the point that I don't even tie them because it's tedious and when people point them out I just shrug.

I'm now thirty and I was making slip knots the whole time.

Mike, I just read the page on slip knots...it's pretty amazing how simply reversing a technique makes all the difference! This page has changed my life too...I never thought about how I tie my shoelaces, but now I'm using Ian's method...count me in for 28 years...well, minus a few years while my parents tied my shoelaces for me :)
