New Retirement Planning Idea! The 401K-Keg Plan.

If you haven't heard about this plan, you should read about it. Found this in a forum I read, on the topic of financials and retirement...quite educational and definitely something to think about ;)
If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year go, it would now be worth $49.00. With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1,000.00. With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left. But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer one year ago, drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling REFUND,you would have had $214.00. Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink heavily and recycle. It's called the 401-Keg Plan.
I'm not sure how accurate the numbers are, but oh well that's not the point! And that's why I have my disclaimer at the bottom on this page. LOL. Have an awesome weekend!

That sounds like a great plan! The only problem is if you live in a state like North Carolina (where I live) we can't return our cans for a refund, we can only recycle! Looks like I'll just have to drink the beer, and find better stocks than Enron and WorldCom for my investments...

lol...You could take a road trip maybe?

On a side note, I thought about this after the fact, but I hope I didn't offend anyone invested in these stocks...I didn't mean to make light of something that's pretty serious. I was invested in some of the same stocks...LU being one of them...So hope u don't take it too seriously.
